  1. @irandymobile Infrared works slightly different than convection. In convection, there is an invisible fan circulating the waves in the chamber, but in infrared, an infrared source emits infrared signals to what is in the chamber. Now, the infrared signals have enough power to go through what is in the chamber and cook the other side of it. But people who are too concern about their food would rather flip it. I would not do it because I know the science behind it.

  2. its suppose to be a convection/infared oven so why do you need to flip the steak. convection ovens circulate the air evenly to distribute the heat perfectly. i could see if the steak was in a pan but its no

  5. I heard that after a while, the plastic dome begins to crack. Is this true? This is my only real worry and hesitation in getting it. Unfortunately, most of these “Review” videos are from people who just bought it.
