Trying out a Russell Hobbs brand Turbo Halogen Oven for the first time. Cooking a basic roast chicken and roast veges. Was very surprised with the end result, it was very good.
Counter top cooking appliance. Set it to cook and you’re off the hook!

@matadormitten Since this video was done i have perfected the vegetables alot more and cooking in it overall. I am just about to edit a roast lamb video i did the other night and place that on my channel. I only use the turbo oven and no longer use my big oven at all.
cooked a chicken in one of these last night, it was great!! I put the veg on the bottom though instead of on the rack, so they weren’t quite done. but it still was awesome, I could have just cooked them a bit longer before or after the chicken and would have fixed my mistake.
@romzan1999 The only oil i use it to spray a little olive oil into the bottom of the cooker and onto the small rack to make cleaning easier. I squeeze fresh lemon juice over all of the chicken be fore i put it in the oven and bake each side for 45mins at 175 celcius and its done. I have baked many chickens this way and have gotten pretty good at it
To be honest I have one of these and they are alright but not as great as they claim, in fact I hardly use mine it doesn’t do chips very good but does burgers ok, I will keep it though as I will use it sometime, I tend to use my combi microwave more now than this.

I bought one of these years ago and love the thing.. I think I bought the first ones that came out like 12 yrs ago.. makes great chicken and garlic cheese bread. A lot easier than heating up the kitchen for a small meal. Think I paid 99. for it then and until 2 wks ago when my son dropped the bottom bowl it worked fine.. The bowl is super thick but he dropped it on concrete lol

I’ve got this oven, but I’ve got a problem, the start button doesn’t work!! I put chicken in it, then I chose fan speed, temp, but the start button light doesn’t even work !!
